Free cancellation up to 7 days before check-in. Cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in or no-shows will be charged the full amount of the first night's stay.

• Check-in: 12:00 PM onwards till 11:00 PM
• Check-out: 10:00 AM
• Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability.
• You can always come to the property and hangout here.
• We have common washrooms which can be used.
• We also have a café where you can have breakfast.
• The common area has so many games - you can chill and wait until we provide you with check-in.

Yes, we accept walk-ins based on availability. However, we highly recommend booking in advance, especially during peak season (October to March) and holidays, as we often get fully booked.

We offer four types of accommodation:

• 12 Bed Mixed Dorm: Spacious dorms with 2 shared bathrooms
• 6 Bed Female Dorm: Safe and clean with ensuite washroom
• 8 Bed Mixed Dorm (Luxury): Fun and affordable with open roof washroom
• Private Rooms: We also have private rooms not inside the hostel but in next property known as "Sunny's Paradise" for those who want to enjoy the vibe of Hostel but wants to stay in private rooms.

All our rooms include:

• Free WiFi throughout the property
• Individual lockers (bring your own lock)
• Charging sockets
• Clean bed linens and towels

Yes! Clean bed linens are provided and changed regularly. Yes! Towels are available on rent upon request at the reception.

Currently, we only offer shared dormitories. However, our dorms are designed for maximum comfort and personal lockers. We focus on creating a community atmosphere while respecting personal space.

We have another property which is 50 meters away from the Hostel, where we have private rooms - Property Name: Sunny's Paradise.

We're located in the heart of Gokarna, Karnataka, on the extended part of Main Beach - Gokarna Beach. Our location offers easy access to all major beaches (Om Beach - 6 KM, Kudle Beach - 4 KM, Paradise Beach - 7 KM) and the famous Mahabaleshwar Temple. Everything is closeby within the radius of 7 KM.

From Gokarna Road Railway Station: Take an auto-rickshaw (₹400-500, 15-20 minutes) or bus to Gokarna town.

From Gokarna Bus Stand: We're about 10 minutes by auto-rickshaw (₹150-250).

Nearest Airport: Nearest airport to Gokarna is Dabolim, Hubli and Mangalore. Connectivity is good from Dabolim, you can opt for Bus, Train or Cab.

All of Gokarna's famous beaches are easily accessible:

• Gokarna Main Beach: we are at extended Main Beach.
• Kudle Beach: 40 minutes walk or 10 minutes by auto
• Om Beach: 20 minutes by auto or trek via Kudle Beach
• Paradise Beach & Half Moon Beach: Accessible via trek or boat from Om Beach

Short Half day trips nearby Gokarna - accessible via Scooty or private cab:

• Yana Caves and Vibhuthi Falls: Yana Caves is known for its unique structure and has a story behind it. Vibhuthi Fall is a waterfall where you can enjoy with your friends (Fellow Hostel Travellers) or Solo - take a dip in clear water - do jumping in the fall from a small cliff nearby or just float around and absorb the energy.
• Murdeshwer and Honnavar: Murdeshwar is well known for its famous temple which has big Shiva statue. Honnavar is famous for the mangroves boating and board walk in mangroves. If you have time you can also cover Mirjan Fort as it is in the same route.

Guests must be 18 Years or older and max cap of age is 35 years old. Valid government-issued ID is required at check-in.

We can amend age restriction for travellers if you are travelling solo and a traveller from heart.

Goko Hostel is a non-smoking property. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our common spaces and rooms smoke-free.

Outside guests are welcome in our common areas during the day (9 AM - 10 PM) but are not permitted in dormitories. For security reasons, all visitors must register at reception.

No strict curfew, but we request guests to be mindful of others. Our main door is accessible 24/7 with your room key. We ask that you keep noise levels down after 11 PM to respect other guests who may be sleeping.

Yes! We have a beach front cafe where we serve delicious food from a vast choices from our menu. Try our Chole Chawal, Fish Masala Fry, Egg Cheese Sandwich, we do have steaks as well which are delicious. We serve some local style seafood as well on request.

Sorry we don't have a community kitchen, we have industrial kitchen due to which we do not allow guests to go in the kitchen for safety reasons and cleanliness reasons.

Absolutely! Gokarna has amazing food options. You'll find beach shacks, local South Indian restaurants, cafes serving international cuisine, and fresh seafood restaurants—all within 5-10 minutes walk. We're happy to recommend our favorites!
